Recommendation Platforms Had Stopped Serving Real People.
Every major discovery platform had been corrupted by advertising incentives, fake reviews, and engagement-optimised algorithms that surface what's paid for rather than what's genuinely best. People wanted real community opinions — and no platform was giving them that.
