A Studio.
Build Me App started in 2023 because Imran kept seeing the same pattern: founders hire an agency, get passed to a junior team they've never met, and spend months chasing updates instead of shipping product. We built the studio we wished existed: a dedicated team you meet before we start, limited active projects, and the founder on every strategic call.
We deliberately stay small. Not because we can't grow, but because scale changes how you work. Every client gets a dedicated team, a fixed scope, and direct access to leadership. No account managers buffering the conversation. No surprise hand-offs mid-build.
"We limit how many builds we take on, so the ones we do get our full attention."
Imran leads every engagement at Build Me App: scoping, strategy, client communication, and escalation. If something needs a decision, it goes through him.
Before founding Build Me App in 2023, he spent years building products for founders and operators who needed a team they could actually trust to deliver. That experience shaped how the studio runs today: limited active projects, direct access, and personal accountability when things get hard.
One Delivery Model, Every Engagement.
Build Me App runs on a single operating model on every project. Product strategy and client management are based in Toronto and work in your timezone; engineering is a dedicated in-house team based in Pakistan that works in the Eastern timezone.
Toronto strategy, product & client management
Scoping, product direction, and all client communication are led from our Toronto headquarters, in your timezone.
A named escalation contact
Imran Salahuddin, our founder, is your direct contact and escalation point during Toronto business hours — not a ticket queue.
A dedicated engineering team in Pakistan
Your product is built by a dedicated in-house team based in Pakistan that works only on your project. You meet them by name and review their LinkedIn profiles before you sign.
Full workday overlap
Our Pakistan engineering team works Eastern hours, so you collaborate in real time through the day — no overnight lag, no waiting until tomorrow for answers.
Daily updates, weekly video check-ins
Progress is documented daily in a shared workspace — Slack, Notion, or your tool — with a live video check-in each week.
Independent QA
A dedicated QA engineer — not the developer who wrote the code — runs functional, regression, and device testing before any milestone is signed off.
Formal UAT before release
Every client-facing release goes through a formal user-acceptance testing phase where you validate the build before it goes live.
A limited number of concurrent projects
We cap active work to protect focus; your lead developer runs no more than two projects at once, and we tell you if we’re at capacity.
Juniors never own critical architecture
Your build is led by a senior or mid-senior developer with 3+ years of production experience. Juniors may support specific tasks but never own critical architecture or core features.
Ask every partner two questions
When you evaluate any development partner, ask whether the engineering is done in-house or subcontracted to another agency, and where the engineers actually sit. The answers tell you who is accountable for your code and how directly you can reach them. Ask us the same — the answers are above.
Dedicated Team. Every Engagement.
No hand-offs, no outsourcing. The people you meet on the first call are the ones who build your product.
Three Things We Never Compromise On.
These aren't aspirational values on a wall. They're the way we actually work, every project, every time.
We move fast without cutting corners. Deadlines are commitments, not targets. If we say 8 weeks, we mean 8 weeks.
Every product we ship is something we're proud to put our name on. Design, code, and copy, all held to the same standard.
We treat every product like it's ours, until it's yours. No blaming briefs, no hiding behind process. We own the outcome.
What an Engagement Actually Looks Like.
No vague process diagrams. This is the path from first conversation to a product in your hands, and what happens after.
A free 30-minute call with Imran to understand what you're building, where you are, and whether we're the right fit. No pitch deck required.
A written scope document and fixed-price proposal, usually the same day. Milestone payments tied to deliverables, not arbitrary dates.
One dedicated team from kickoff to launch. Weekly check-ins, daily async updates, and a QA engineer who didn't write the code reviewing every milestone.
Full IP and source code transfer on final payment. Every project includes a 30-day post-launch warranty, and most clients keep working with us after that.
