Data Processing Agreement

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) forms part of any service agreement between:

Build Me App (Processor)
and
Client (Controller)

Purpose

This agreement governs the processing of personal data in connection with services provided by Build Me App.

Roles

Client – Data Controller

The client determines:

• What data is collected

• Why it is processed

• How it is used

Build Me App – Data Processor

Build Me App processes personal data only:

• On behalf of the client

• For the purpose of delivering agreed services

Types of Data

Depending on the project, personal data may include:

• Names

• Email addresses

• Phone numbers

• User accounts

• Customer information

Security Measures

Build Me App implements safeguards including:

• Secure development practices

• Encrypted communication

• Access controls

• Secure infrastructure

Sub-Processors

Build Me App may use third-party providers including:

• Cloud hosting providers

• Analytics services

• Infrastructure platforms

• Communication tools

These providers must maintain appropriate data protection standards.

Data Breach

In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting client data, Build Me App will notify the client promptly and assist with mitigation.

Data Retention

Personal data will only be retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the service engagement.

International Transfers

Data may be processed in:

• Canada

• United States

• Other jurisdictions used by infrastructure providers.
